I have worked in the Earl Years Sector since 2002. My roles have been varied and include founder and manager of Hopscotch Montessori Nursery; early years assessor for NVQ levels, 3, 4 and 5; SEN coordinator and Designated safeguarding lead. I currently work as a university tutor for the EYITT course at the University of Brighton; consultant trainer and freelance Early Years Inspector. From experience I have an understanding of the challenges of maintaining the balance between providing a high-quality provision and running a sustainable business. My passion is to empower practitioners to provide the best possible education and care for children.
Additionally, I have experience meeting the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage without compromising Montessori or other pedagogical principles.
